Megalodon Tooth 5 inches
MT23-029
Description
This 5 inch Megalodon Tooth is from the South Carolina coast in what's called the Hawthorn Formation. The Megalodon was the largest shark species ever recorded, estimated to be up to three times the length of a modern day Great White Shark. The tooth is an authentic prehistoric remnant of this impressive creature. Megalodon jaws were lined with 276 teeth, and studies reconstructing the shark's bite force suggest that it may have been one of the most powerful predators ever. Megalodon had a bite force at least three times stronger than T. Rex. That's a lot of bite! The tooth is an authentic prehistoric remnant of this impressive creature.
