Discover an impressive piece of history with this 2.7" Flying Paralejurus Trilobite from Atchana, Morocco. This scientifically classified Paralejurus spatuliforumis specimen, from the Lower Devonian period, is expertly prepared with microscopic precision to appear as if it is flying on a pillar of stone. With virtually no restoration, this trilobite is a true display piece for any expert collector. There is only some glue along the "find break" (see photos of blue lines shown in UV light) where the fossil was originally discovered and then glued the rock back together in order to prepare it later. A light can be shown through the pleura where the matrix is completely free from the fossil on both sides. This specimen is astonishingly well prepared!
